Hospital Care

caregiver helping an older person
Hospitals are never anyone’s favorite place, but it is inevitable that each of us will find ourselves in one at some point in our life. Whether it is ourselves, or to visit a loved one who needs professional medical care. The medical professionals in our country all well known for providing great medical care. But they also have many other people that they need to be looking after, not just our loved one. That is where our team come in. We provide hospital care to fill in the gaps for when they are unable to have hospital personal by their side at all times.

In Hospital Care
Doctors and nurses in a hospital work like a well-oiled machine, making sure that everyone gets the urgent medical care they need. But not always do they have the time to check to make sure their patients are comfortable frequently and check-in for any warning signs. Having one of our carers by the side of your loved one can ensure that they are getting all the attention they need to bridge the times that a nurse is tied up with other patients.

Home Nurse
Although being in a hospital with a doctor on-site at all times is the best way to handle emergencies, it is not always practical or possible to stay in a hospital for long periods of time. Although this thought can be daunting, there are ways to make sure your loved one is being looked after by a trained professional. Rhode Island Home Care Services offer home nurse services, helping people to manage their illnesses in the comfort of their own home. Whether it be to feed and bathe them when they are bedridden, to help dress wounds or other care requirements, our home nurses are all trained to care for our clients.

Professional Understanding& Knowledge
The trained home nurses at Rhode Island Home Care Services all have an impressive skill set, and a broad understanding of many illnesses and care requirements. Not only do we look at the illness that our clients need help with, but we also start to build personal connections with our clients. We want them to feel safe and comfortable within their home, but also understand that there is a trained professional there to help them through the hard moments. Our knowledge helps our clients to feel secure and well looked after, even when they are not in a hospital.

Disability & Illness Care
Our clients contact us for hospital care needs for a range of different reasons. Sometimes it can be a disability that causes their additional care needs, and other times it can be an illness. Our team are trained in dealing with many different types of care requirements, and the different needs that each of them has. We always make sure that there are clear lines of communication between our team and the doctors, as well as the family members to make sure everyone is on the same page.
